The art room exploded with colour as the Year 4 students explored the world of abstract art. Just like real artists, they stood at easels and created their masterpieces with acrylic paint on canvas. For this task, the students investigated how colour and shape can be used to influence our mood. They found evidence of this in the work of artists such as Kandinsky. The students chose their own mood to depict in these paintings.
